Key Achievements
Established and lead the BHP´s Global Shared Services center in Manila with responsibilities for internal and external stakeholder management, center-wide risk and control management, in-country brand management and center-wide culture.
Grew a cross-functional Global Shared Services team from 0-600 employees in twelve months whilst sponsoring key global projects to transition agreed human resources, supply, finance and marketing processes. Ensured the ‘license to operate’ requirements in addition to company safety and security obligations. Developed positive relationships with local regulatory organizations and associations. Sponsored the project to deliver a permanent office fit-out and successful relocation of teams.
Transformed the BHP´s Global HR Shared Services team from 40 – 600 FTEs within 4 years. Defined the operating model, governance and frameworks. Expanded the scope of services from payroll administration to recruitment-to-retire processes including specialist services, such as compensation and benefits, global mobility, global enquiry management, training and analytics.
Established a new BHP´s Global HR Shared Services center team in Malaysia, closure of regional HR shared centers teams in Australia, Chile, South Africa, and the US and transitioned its processes to the new global HR services center.
